Focus Freeze
A Windows agent that understands what you’re working on, freezes the apps you don’t need, and brings them back intact when you say “I’m done”.
- 88/88blind planner decisions, a keyword table got 66%In progress
- 0/270unsafe freezes in red-team runsIn progress
- $0.002about, per planIn progress
The feasibility prototype took an 800 MB process to 0 MB in 90 ms by suspending it and paging its RAM to disk.
The hard part is knowing what is safe to freeze. A blind test set measures that: the planner against a keyword table at 66% and an idle timer at 57%.
Status as of 30 October: the AI layer runs end to end on mock parts, and the real sensors and actuators plug in on integration day.
What it refuses to doFreezing the wrong thing. Across 270 red-team attack runs against a mock policy: zero unsafe freezes. Real window titles stay blocked by default.
How it runs
- SenseWhat is open and what you are working on.
- PlanMuse Spark proposes, behind an injection-safe prompt with validation.
- PolicyA safety policy filters every proposal.
- ConsentA card shows what will freeze.
- RestoreSay “I’m done” and everything returns with its state.
Honest caveatUnfinished. These numbers are from mock parts and a mock policy, and will change at integration.
